    I’ve done a long recovery (6 weeks to somewhat functional and 12 weeks to total recovery after an open heart surgery for a new cow valve and four bypasses) and it’s no fun. Do whatever rehab work is required, but don’t push it so hard that you risk a setback. Listen to your body. It knows what it can handle better than you do. Very best of luck.
