Brooks Brothers’ Annual Christmas Party

Last night Brooks Brothers held its annual Christmas party, which benefits the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, at its Madison Avenue flagship. My third year in attendance (but my first one in brown flannels), the event seemed larger than usual and there was revelry on every floor.

I took a few snapshots of guys who caught my eye (like the gentleman above, Thomas Jackson, who is the national head of Brooks Brothers’ custom-clothing operations, and who was decked out in a spectacular fox-head waistcoat), but you’ll have to head over to my latest web project, questmag.com, to get the full scoop. — CHRISTIAN CHENSVOLD

    I really like his tie!

  2. Christian, did you learn anything from Mr. Jackson about the future of the custom clothing operation, most especially the Golden Fleece line? Rumor has it that Southwick will, in a matter of months, take over the Golden Fleece line production.

And, yes, a great tie. And vest. And jacket.

  3. Lo siento, but the Questmag website is not working. Please post some more pics for us

  5. SE, don’t know those details, but I was told that the MTM business is very brisk. It’s actually one of the strongest part of the menswear market overall, and coincidentally I’m expecting my first MTM jacket, which I’ll report on here as soon as it comes in.
