And that tobacconist’s shop is still there today and remains as the only tenant that store ever had in its history.
What happened to those days?
The tobacconist’s shop is Leavitt & Peirce. The students are likely oarsmen checking for the day’s practice schedules and boatings. The store was kind enough to allow it’s windows to be used for this purpose well into the early 2000s, when Tradition gave way to email.
