Gentlemen, I humbly beseach your patience at this time. Since mid-November I’ve been distracted with settling my affairs in New York, proofing and edits of my work of sartorial fiction about to come out, and working on Trad Man (which was going to launch on Christmas Day). And now, while the past three weeks in Newport have been magical, the apartment where I landed is not suitable and I will have to move again. The place I found is wonderful, but I need to have Internet set up and who knows what that will be like between Christmas and New Year’s. And while I have a laptop and there’s a cafe nearby, it is not conducive to creating elaborate blog posts. I do hope to have an “elaborate” one up for Christmas.
So please bear with me if we’re heavy on reruns until the New Year, when I’ll put out a call for fresh voices for the site, including an assistant editor. — CC
