The Structured Polo Shirt combines bespoke-level details with the world’s best materials and combines them with stand collars that sit perfectly under a jacket. A polo smart enough to take you from relaxed meeting to the rooftop bars of the city and from airport lounge to poolside. Based in London, Niccolò P. launched in 2018 with a mission to put the “shirt” back in polo shirt, eliminating the shortcomings typical of other polos, such as curling collars, plastic or imitation mother-of-pearl buttons that crack easily, run-of-the-mill cottons, and a boxy fit common to many heritage brands.
Fifteen months and countless prototypes were spent in perfecting the pattern and sourcing the natural materials required. The result is an uncompromising blend of fit, custom colors, and bespoke-level details using the world’s finest cottons expertly knitted in the fine textiles region of Montebelluna, Italy. The structure derives from:
1) Flat-felled seams that take five times longer to sew but give unparalleled comfort, together with a neater appearance around the shoulders and sides.
2) Stand collars that allow the polo shirt to sit perfectly under a jacket.
3) A front placket hand cut from a separate piece of fabric and set-on the shirt, rather than simply cut into the garment, for a defined appearance. To finish, mother-of-pearl buttons — sourced from Australia and dyed to match the shirt where they should — are added using a distinctive crow’s foot stitch, with a length just right for tucking in or leaving out.
Niccolò P. structured polo shirts are available in three distinct styles: The Weekend (jersey knit cottons), The Resort (piqué knit cottons), and The City (long sleeve polos). Free international shipping and returns on all orders. Discover more at Niccolò P.
