You can also hear the show here. We (and by we I mean Hostgator) is still working to resolve the issues that the increased traffic presented to the server – a good problem but one that was supposed to be solved in a day. Apologies for slow loads and any other tech issue.
I will dress this post up more when the server is set right but I wanted you to at least know that Part Two is up!
Just to let you know, John: No link accessible by clicking the image or the word “here”.
This link worked:

What a treat! Thanks, JB.
Thanks for the link, Patrick.
Just re-discovered this extensive interview with Richard Press (from 2011).

Another treat.
It be very cool if you could use a podcast hoster that provides an RSS feed. This way I/we could user our own podcast apps and weren’t forced to use mixcloud.
https://transistor.fm/ is a solid choice for example.
Ok, but there are a number of reasons to stay with Mix-Cloud, the most important being that they offer licensing for copywritten music. If I am sitting in a bar with Bruce Boyer and the guy in the background is playing Tracks Of Jupiter, I don’t have to worry about having to take the podcast down OR having to pay thousands. Before you scoff, some nights I play out at taverns, stuff like that. When I do, they pay up to $1,200 so that I can cover other artists’ songs. It’s a thing. The fines are stupid crazy. I get it, but this is a way around it. The other reason is that my other show is on MX, and that way I can (and did) cross promote. It worked. Is using MX a hassle (seriously asking) and if so, why and how?
