    What is traditional Ivy League about the supptessed waist on that jacket?
    In a traditionally-tailored jacket, there is a straight line from the armpit to the hem.

    Sorry. “Supptessed” = “suppressed”.

  3. Not even.
    Many Ivy jacket with undarted front had a gentle waist suppression.
    Look for exemple to Brooks Brothers advertisment of 30s and 40s.

    @Carmelo

    The waist suppression on that jacket is not “gentle”.
    The Ivy standard for me is the 1950s and the early 1960s.

  5. @ AEV – I think my point is parallel. You think it’s “creepy” that Fred attempts to hang around 20 something’s. But it’s not “creepy” for you to obsessively follow a 20 year old female’s lifestyle blog and instagram and make constant comments regarding? Ok
