In the Princeton Chapel on campus, there is a plaque that commemorates the occasion. Professors at the seminary sometimes take their preaching classes to the chapel and have students practice their sermons in the exact spot MLK spoke from years ago – perhaps a underrated tradition.
My father was class of ’61 and I think was friends with Tom Garrett (shown in the picture on the steps). Does anyone have links to more pictures from that day? I would enjoy searching the pictures to see if my father was in the crowd of onlookers.
