Beautiful! Roll in and grab a few suits. Roll out to Nanni on 46th for some fine Italian! Life is good!
Good news
That pic you posted is from that nightmarish 380 Madison store. His current atelier is like night and day: great space out of Donald Draperland. Not mentioned is that longtime Head Fitter Gonzolo Gaete, aka Mr. G, is on-site for tailoring.
Is this a step towards a new J. Press store in NYC, or is Press going the Chipp/Winston route in the Big Apple?
Interesting observation Taliesin. Onward had pulled the plug on Jay + Co, he quickly found other backers (who later, also, pulled the rip cord) and J. Press came back to keep the operation afloat. Can only wish him and Mr. G well for keeping a micro presence alive and kicking. Meanwhile, all loyal NYC ready-to-wear customers and staff abandoned.
