Ivy League Style For Today Thread Reaches 1,000 Posts

fnb

Today an important chronicle of Internet Ivy — the “Ivy League style for today” thread at FNB’s Talk Ivy forum — has reached a milestone, surpassing 1,000 member posts.

Going strong (or at least going) for seven years now, it contains outfits brilliant and bland, trolling and counter-trolling. In other words, pretty much like every other corner of the menswear Internet. Cheers, chaps. — CC

“The title was inspired by an event covered by Time Magazine reporter Hugh Sidney in 1966.[2] The reporter correctly guessed that something was amiss when the fastidiously dressed
President Lyndon B. Johnson made the sartorial faux pas of wearing brown shoes with a gray suit. Johnson flew to Vietnam for a surprise public relations visit later that day.”
