Unless you wear high-end or vintage clothes, you might feel a bit insulted looking under the lining of your suit jackets and sportcoats. While jacket in the past typically featured half or quarter linings requiring inner seams to be finished cleanly, sometimes even decoratively, many mid-tier jackets today use a full lining to hide shoddy workmanship. I began musing about what’s inside jackets when I saw this x-ray photograph by artist Nick Veasey. Given that most of us are unlikely to really research the quality of craftsmanship you describe in the (excellent) HuffPo column, might I suggest a post on Ivy Style with your list of manufacturers who design and manufacture their clothing here in the US, along with any opinions on their overall attention to important details? It would make an excellent cheat sheet and I would bet that most of your readers will be heavily biased to patronize labels made in the USA.

That’s a tiptop suggestion. I for one would welcome an ‘approved ‘ list. It would certainly cut out the guesswork!
All that picture needs is a balloon saying “Where’s my teleprompter?”.
